Payment Methods

Australian online casinos accept a wide variety of payments making depositing funds to your account relatively straightforward.  Deposits are usually credited immediately, although withdrawing funds can take up to 48 hours to be processed by the casino with it then taking 1 – 3 business days for the money to reach your bank.  There are some restrictions with regards to withdrawing funds with not all depositing methods being accepted as withdrawal methods. See our table below showing which casinos accept which  payment and withdrawal type.

Pre Paid Cards

You can also make an online deposit using a pre-paid debit card i.e. a card that does not have a line of credit so you can only draw on funds that have previously been deposited .  These are popular with players who don’t have a conventional credit card, or don’t want to use their card.

Australia Post and Universal Gift Card offer pre-paid Visa cards, and there are also specialist pre-paid cards such as EntroPay that are accepted at casinos including All Slots and Spin Palace (although with EntroPay you may have to pay currency conversion charges when you load your card if you bank in AUD).  Check with your casino of choice as to their policy regarding withdrawals funds to a pre-paid credit card.

Credit Cards

Our recommended casinos all accept payment by Visa and Mastercard with Maestro being accepted by most others. All our online casino choices will also withdraw back to CC’s.

E-wallets that allows you to make e-commerce transactions are another popular way to get money onto a casino account. Popular e-wallets include: Paysafecard, Poli, Neteller, Moneybookers (Skrill).  Not all casinos can make payments back to certain so in these cases you will receive a cheque in the post or by courier. You can also recieve special bonuses for e-wallet payment like this one in Royal Vegas:

Simply using a recommended e-wallet to make your first deposit gives you an additional match bonus on that deposit up the value of $100. Direct Bank Transfer

A direct bank transfer allows you to transfer money from your bank account directly to your casino account and you can do this using online banking, telephone banking or in person at a branch.  While this can be a very convenient method, in that you can move funds easily, it is also the slowest method, as most direct bank transfers will take up to 72 hours to reach your casino account.

Pre-Paid Vouchers

Pre-paid vouchers are a further way for Australian players to deposit funds into their accounts and the most widely accepted at our recommended online casinos is Ukash.  These vouchers are available at outlets all over Australia; you purchase a voucher (for any amount you choose) and receive a code, which you then enter on the banking section of the casino site.

While depositing to your online casino account is very simple, it is important to check with each casino as to their conditions regarding withdrawals as not all deposit methods will allow you to withdraw funds in the same way.
